The consumption behavior of consumers is to immediately satisfy their needs. But with a focus placed on revenue, and not on the viewers, users are being bombarded with advertisements that interrupt their quest for instant gratification.
Loyal sports fans, 18-49yr old male
The target audience was identified to us by our client as loyal sports fanatics who range between the ages of 18 to 49, and are primarily male. These individuals have the means to purchase the app subscription and are willing to do so in order to stay up to date with their favorite sports teams and players.

I wanted to develop a young, bold, edgy brand that would appeal to all sports fans. Inspired by bold colors and movement, I wanted to emulate that in both my visual design and motion design.
The Reel is a mobile application that provides a completely customized, ad-free sports viewing experience. Fans gain full access to their favorite sports team's latest highlights and scores, keeping them effortlessly up to date while retaining their super fandom status.

Using predictive analytics, The Reel also intelligently provides related channels based on the ones the user currently follows.

The reel provides users with instant access to their favorite sports highlights. This app intelligently introduces new sports to users based on the content they have previously selected or liked. No ads, premium content, curated for the user.
The Reel's biggest challenge was creating meaningful interactions. I learned how important it is in making a seamless experience to make interactions that are intuitive and clear to the user.
